Description
Unlike our other septa, the “Septum SPECIAL” has a round omission (Ø 4mm) in the adhesive layer.
Advantage of this more elaborate “construction”: Where there is no glue, no glue can stick to the needle.
This is especially important when using valuable special needles with integrated sensors or when using fiber optic sensors.
Of course, these septa can also be used for “normal” gas extraction by gas analyzers with built-in sample gas pump.
